At the Center at Donaldson, PHJC Volunteers nurture our Greenhouses, cultivating fresh, nutritious food for Sisters, residents, co-workers, guests, and the community. They employ safe, sustainable methods to care for the soil.

According to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, 12.4 percent of residents in our region are food insecure—they cannot access enough nutritious food for themselves or their families—and one in four children struggle with hunger. But with your support, we can respond.

Given regional food insecurity, the Volunteers aim to expand food distribution by 15% in 2024, building on last year’s delivery of nearly 250 pounds to Plymouth neighbors in need.
